Bridal Portrait on the Canon Beach, OR with simple Props.

This portrait session will be done in a natural setting with natural props, poses, and expressions. The light will be soft and flattering; the background will add texture without distraction; the dress you choose will radiate gracefulness and refinement—and all of these elements will come together to create a timeless image of elegance that captures who you are on this special day!

The location of this shoot is Canon Beach, Oregon. The beach is named for a nearby creek with streams that empty into the ocean. It's one of my favorite places in the world because it's so secluded and quiet - especially on foggy days when you can't see more than 10 yards in front of you!

Photographers and artists have been using simple props for decades to create unique and beautiful images. Today I'm going to show you how we can create simple props that are perfect for the bridal photoshoot.

A single rose holds a lot of meaning. It can symbolize love, purity, and beauty. If you're interested in using something other than a rose, there are plenty of other options! Try holding a twig with leaves or one branch with leaves.

A silk scarf can be used to add color, texture and depth to your photos. They are soft and elegant, making them an ideal prop for your bridal photoshoot. The best part is that you don't have to spend a fortune buying one!

The silk scarf can be used in a variety of ways. It's easy to roll up and put it behind your neck for an instant pop of color or texture, or wrap it around your shoulders like a shawl on colder days (or when you just want some extra warmth).

I believe that a bridal portrait should be elegant, timeless, and absolutely beautiful.

The bouquet is an important prop in any bridal photography session, so choose carefully.

A single stem with leaves and flowers can be classy, casual or anywhere in between. This will depend on how much greenery there is and whether it's tied together with a ribbon or left loose.
