Hello!
My name is Nayza, and I'm an elopement, destination wedding, and portrait photographer located in San Francisco Bay Area, California.
I have a degree in Graphic Design, but I found that my real passion is to work with people and for people. Long story short. I started working in the wedding industry back in 2007 as a stylist, but photography has always been my passion. One day it dawned on me that photography is what I want to do until my last breath.
As for me, photography is an opportunity to tell stories of my heroes. I think that through photography, we can make people, feelings, and events immortalized, and that inspires me.
How It started
I bought my first camera in my 17, when I was still a teenager. I was from a low-income family, and we had not enough money for everything I wanted, so I decided to spend money for my Promt dress on the camera I dreamt of. I didn't know anything about photography; however, I was very passionate about it.
My first camera was Nikon F65. The camera was pretty basic with kit lenses, but it didn't matter to me. What mattered was that it would be able to capture the images that were in my head. That decision changed my life, and I am always grateful to my mom, who supports me.
When I look at those old works now, I can see clearly what kind of style I loved and still love in photography today.
My Partner in Crime
My husband and I have been in a committed relationship for a decade, with six of those years spent as happily married partners. We celebrated our union with a stunning elopement that embodied a Gothic aesthetic.
Among the many cherished moments captured on camera, my absolute favorite photo of us showcases the joy and laughter we share together.
Whenever I work with clients who are in the midst of planning their weddings, I feel a deep sense of happiness for them. After all, discovering one's true love is truly the most significant and fulfilling experience one can have in life.
I’m a Cat Person
Well, I’m ready to write a chapter about my beloved feline companion, Tessa. She has a fantastic personality, and we are super connected. She is always around and sleeps on my lap during my editing time.
As an avid animal lover, cats have always held a special place in my heart. I am committed to supporting animal welfare causes, particularly those related to feline health and safety. With each sale, I proudly donate to Cuddly, an organization supporting cats and other needy animals.
While it is my fervent hope that animal abuse will one day be eradicated, for now, I remain steadfast in my commitment to doing all that I can to help those in need.
Crazy Traveler
I’m traveling at least 10 times a year. I’ve been in 30 countries and of course my dream is to visit every country in the world. My next goal is to visit all 50 states.
Old Europe, Historical places, Castles and Mansions, French Chateaus, Mountains and Oceans - I’m all about traveling and exploring.
Stylist
I’ve spent 11 years of my life working as a bridal stylist, hairstylist, and makeup artist. My extensive experience in this field has instilled a deep appreciation for attention to detail and a keen eye for bridal style.
Of all the works that I have created over the years, there is one in particular that holds a special place in my heart. This piece represents the culmination of my years of hard work and dedication to the craft of bridal styling.
Doll Collector
Throughout my life, I have been a passionate painter. When I studied design, I was inclined toward more classical graphic techniques. However, six years ago, I discovered BJD dolls and found a new outlet for my creativity. Since then, I have collected and customized these dolls in an effort to make them look as much like real people as possible.
