DETAILS

The details of a wedding tell so much about the couple. Just like the Panamanian traditional wedding dress, Caroline and Josephs's wedding had many surprises; it also had many details. These details told a story about what matters to them.

Old camera: The first surprise was Caroline's old camera, which reflects her passion for photography.

Love letters: The second surprise came when they read love letters in front of everyone during the ceremony. It was a touching moment that made everyone tear up!

Traditional hair combs: The third surprise was that the bride and her bridesmaids wore traditional hair combs. They were beautiful accents that added another layer of beauty to the ceremony.

GROOMS PORTRAITS

The groom's portrait is an opportunity to capture the groom in a way that makes him look like the best version of himself. Joseph enjoyed that time with his dog Pablo. Personally, I think that it's great when pets are invited to weddings too. I enjoyed time with Pablo and tried to deliver a few portraits for him as well.

BRIDAL PARTY

What a day! The bridal party was awesome. The guys had a fun time together, and everyone enjoyed everything from the beginning to the end. We started the day with the guys getting ready in their rooms at the hotel, then went out to take some fun photos of them together before the ceremony. There was a lot of laughter and jokes being passed around, which made for some really great photos! The venue was perfect—the weather cooperated, the lighting was exquisite, and everyone had a blast!

BRIDAL PORTRAITS

Caroline was a dream to work with! Her first part of the bridal photoshoot was in her more traditional boho-style wedding dress. She has a bright personality, and I tried to show not only her beauty but all her enjoyment from her wedding day!

COCKTAIL HOUR

It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining and the breeze blowing. Guests enjoyed the incredible venue and the delicious cocktails.

CEREMONY

The wedding ceremony was so touching. Every friend and family member laughed and cried as the couple said their vows. Their dog Pablo was a part of the ceremony, and he kept everyone smiling through the whole thing.

FORMAL PORTRAITS

After the ceremony, we spent some time taking formal portraits with family. I think this is the best time for the formal portraits when everyone is full of emotions but more relaxed than before.

I love shooting at this time because I can see their emotions through their eyes. They are so happy and excited that they just can't stop smiling!

TIME WITH THE COUPLE

After the ceremony, we decided to spend more time taking pictures of Caroline and Joseph. They had so much fun! I love to work with couples after the ceremony. When the stress of the big day goes down, guests enjoy cocktails, and the bride and groom can finally focus on each other.

I love all my clients, but I really have a soft spot for weddings that give me time to take pictures of just one couple—not just during the ceremony or reception, but also after those are over. I get to do what I do best: capture moments of happiness and tenderness between two people who love each other deeply.

AESTHETICS

Aesthetics is everything! The Guys decided to choose the main themes of the wedding tropical greenery, the symbol of the bride's side, and music-themed accents that tell a lot about the groom. They chose a great DJ who played actual vinyl discs and was very specific about music at their wedding.

GRAND ENTRANCE AND THE FIRST DANCE

The first dance was highly emotional! When the bride and groom danced together for the first time, it was a moment that could only be described as magical.

DANSES WITH MOMS

Caroline and Joseph had danced with their moms. That was beautiful! They were so sweet, dancing with their mothers. They looked so happy, holding hands and laughing.

SUNSET PHOTOSHOOT

As a wedding photographer, it is my responsibility to stage the wedding photoshoot time in a way that exudes magic and beauty. So I always steal a couple to have a sunset-time photoshoot! As for me, it's a must!

AFTER DARK

SWEET TIME WITH PABLO THE DOGGIE

I was so happy that Caroline and Joseph had decided to have Pablo at the wedding. Pablo was a star and often stole the show. Of course, he deserved their personal photoshoot with the bride and groom.

DANCE

When the dancefloor is wild, it's a good time.
