ARTFUL WAY OF PRESERVING YOUR MEMORIES

editorial wedding photographer for couples who are looking for a quiet luxury experience and a modern approach in san francisco city hall

San Francisco City Hall offers thousands of opportunities for wedding photography.
I loved working with Nayza from start to finish. Nayza made me feel like the most valued customer from our first interaction. The main thing I enjoyed was how she works with you. Unlike other photographers I worked with back in New York, she took the time to listen to me and understand my goals and preferences without rushing through or limiting the time of our interaction. She also was not rushing through the shoot itself or limiting the time to what’s stated in the pricing. I honestly felt she was enjoying the process as much as (if not more than) I did. Amazing top-quality natural pictures and outstanding experience!!! Highly recommend!

Nayza is absolutely incredible! It’s hard to put into words the way she was able to capture our wedding day and turn it into art. She was incredibly helpful from the beginning of the process all the way through to the end! She knew exactly where to guide us in San Francisco City Hall and how to coach us so that we were both looked and felt comfortable during the entire photoshoot. Her work is incredible and I would highly recommend her to capture your day!!!

We LOVED working with Nayza. She is cool, fun, passionate, and not to mention an incredible artist. She made us feel super comfortable, special, and gave a lot of great direction. To our surprise, taking photos was actually such a fun part of our wedding day, all thanks to Nayza! She also went above and beyond and delivered much more than we were expecting. I’m really grateful for how she really cared about doing an amazing job, making us happy, and capturing the story of our wedding day. She did such a great job and we are so happy with the photos!!!

City Hall is a busy place, and for this reason, it requires a lot of editing. Behind every beautiful picture, a lot of work is done to ensure that the couple is the main character in every photo.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Usually, I spend around 2 hours when it's an elopement or a very small group of guests, under 10 people. If you plan to invite more than 10 people, then I need 2.5 hours.

  • What is the best place for the ceremony in the SF City Hall?

There are 4 options where you can have a ceremony.

    1. You can secure a Mayor's Balcony. It is a gorgeous place with grand views of the staircase area. In my opinion, it'smost Suitable for mid-sized groups of up to 30 people.

    2. The Fourth Floor North Gallery is the most private space and offers the best lighting. Works great for bigger guest groups and religious ceremonies.

    3. The Rotunda is the main spot for the small ceremonies with under 6 guests, less private than the first two options, but the ceremony there takes only 5 minutes. It's a beautiful place with awesome views of the Mayor's Balcony Area.

    4. On Tuesdays, the small ceremonies without secured spots take place around the city hall in random places. But all places in the San Francisco City Hall are beautiful, so there's no wrong option.

  • What is the best time for the Ceremony?

I prefer mornings, but SF City Hall is special and beautiful at any time. The lighting there is great, but it changes during the day and throughout the year.

  • Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to have City Hall empty on a weekday because it's a public place. But I always remove passersby from backdrops during editing.

  • Sure! City Hall can be a starting point for your photo story, but I can also start at the hotel and show you getting ready and your first look. Also, it's possible to have photos at the second location after the City Hall. I can recommend many beautiful places to visit. It's also very popular among my clients to add coverage of the reception or family dinner.

  • It's easy and fun. I'll guide you around City Hall, help you with posing if needed, and direct the process. My goal is to be sure that you enjoy the process. Experience always goes first.
